Labrynth
It’s time for my labyrinth.
Escape my worldly pains.
the center theres a prize,
Its a wish,
I pray that I dont die in vain.
im not sure if my absence would matter or happen.
But missing out would be better than exploring absinthe.
Rather get gored by these gorgons, than waste my time staying the same.
So I enter the game.
step through the frame.
The door vanish behind me like the decisions I made.
But consequence remain unlike tears in the rain.
These my obstinate thangs.
Aint no golden thread to lead me on.
Lead me along.
Carved on these walls are the spirits who ain’t made it home.
If they had direction, I could see where I’m goin.
Nothing’s known, so I just head forward.
Nothing’s wrong, so I’m just a tourist.
I’m lost but I was before so.
I’m lost but I was before so.
Why need a head screwed on if it aint leading my torso?
Communicate with stars feels like im reading in morse code.
Tap into that, waves for my radio.
The signals getting stronger,
Keep eyes forward, delay my vertigo.
Like salt to snow, clear my understanding.
A man is in the distance, there’s nothing that he’s wearing, he’s mostly hairy.
“how long you been here for”
He said “all days the same. The sun go up and down but after awhile, nothing
change.”
I said “so you never leave? Did you ever find the center?”
He said “i did”
“So really what you’re doing here”
He can’t answer questions.
He says solutions dwell in pensive. Be reflective.
I say “well you’ve been helpful.”
I’m on my way.
Nothing’s known, so I just head forward.
Nothing’s wrong, so I’m just a tourist.
I’m lost but I was before so.
I’m lost but I was before so.
Nothing’s known, so I just head forward.
Nothing’s wrong, so I’m just a tourist.
I’m lost but I was before so.
I’m lost but I was before so.
I wasn’t confused that there would be a cost.
But 22 years later and something still feels off.
I wander all these walls looking for the middle.
But these is loose ends I’m more like - kittle.
I think I must let go.
It’s time I detach.
And once I know that,
Find the center in no time flat.
No door ahead or nothing,
Just a clearing and I start jumping.
finally get my wish, but when I step into the center I see what is.
That I let go.
All the walls transparent, it only cost my soul.
I said I wish for better life.
But this is Eden there’s no stress in life.
Just food and sun. Ain’t that best for life?
That ain’t no kinda life.
That’s the kinda life that makes you bite the bullet and die.
The old man appears, he looks the same.
He says to me “so are you staying here or making your way?”
The exit now appears.
I have two options.
Do I go back home to struggle or do I be ok with stable solids.
